Improve google page speeds

    Hi there,

    I’m wondering how I can improve my google page speeds, and loading speeds please.

    When I run my site through Google Page Speeds, one of the headings that it suggests is: “Serve images in next-gen formats”. I already have next gen formats being used, but it’s including quite a few instagram images (via the plugin) in there, what is the best way to improve on this please?

    Hey peacockcreaetivedesign,

    At this point, Instagram only provides images as .jpg. If they ever support next-gen formats we will be sure to add support for this in the plugin as well!

    Thank you for your reply. I guess the most important thing is page loading speed, do you have any suggestions to prevent the plugin adding to my load speed, is there a setting to defer the loading of the plugin on the page? If not, I’ll try this manually…
