Impressive but needs WebP support…

This is a impressive slider plugin with some amazing potential, very intuitive and easy to use with nice results, I bought the pro version to support the developers.

The only negatives for me at this point is:

1. Currently no webP support, this is the only element on our website that doesn’t serve webP images and affects page speed due to loading less optimal images, I recently asked the developers about this and they replied that they are working on it but no time frame was given…

2. This plugin seems to heavily rely on Depicter’s servers to work, so if their servers go down (or if they stop supporting this plugin in the future) then potentially so could your sliders? (or dashboard as I found recently, it was quickly resolved but still something to think about before rolling out dozens of sliders across your website)

I’m sure over time the above will be ironed out and then I can finally drop R** slider (which supports WebP) and fully roll out Depicter.

But aside from the above, Depicter has the potential to be one of the best WordPress sliders on the market!
