• I was a little skeptical about using this plugin considering some reviews “claiming” it broke their site or it became inaccessible, but I bought the PRO version and installed it on a local dev site to test it out and it worked flawlessly. It does in fact mask each aspect of linked assets that make mention of WP, as well as areas of WP that hackers/bots look for such as wp-admin and wp-login!

Now, the only thing that is still a dead give away is the fact that the theme I use primarily for projects uses WP Bakery’s Visual Composer as the shortcodes still spits some junk out that makes it recognizable to anyone who inspects the code.

That being said, I will try this plugin out on a couple live sites and report back. But so far with the User Interface in the settings, it is easy peazy.

Thanks Jason for such a review.

Indeed, some themes are adding code in HTML but most of the attacks are made by bots.
Making the plugins/themes paths inaccessible will protect your website from the main types of attacks.

But, let me know if you have a suggestion as we are open to making this plugin better every day.

    Best,
    John
