  • Hi, the plugin has been tested with PHP 7.4 and checking your sitemap, I see no errors… Have you tried resubmitting /sitemap.xml in search console?

Hi Ravan, yes I tried. It is succesful while 5 or 10 minutes, then it comes back to “impossible de recover sitemap”.

I verified them through via official validators, and they are both ok

    https://www.neoproduits.com//sitemap-news.xml
    https://www.neoproduits.com/sitemap.xml

nothing seems to be blocking on my robots.txt

Do you recommand to delete, wait and submit again ?

I do not know how to solve this and do not see any issue which can prevent Google to read them properly

I tried to browse them whith the inspection tool and it says: “not indexed in X-robots Tag hhtp index”.

    “excluded via noindexed balise”

Any idea about how to fix it ?

To test if this is related to the PHP version, you could try switching back to the version you where using before. Also check if there are differences in activated PHP modules (like brotli compression) between the versions.

Wait, what? Your sitemaps are marked noindex?
Right, strike that. They should be “noindex” but also “follow”… So that’s correct ??

    Hi Ravan

Ok if noindex in X-robot tag is normal

I swhitched back to 7.3 and I Confirm it works again in a stable way

I browsed all the differences in Cpanel between 7.3 and 7.4
4 modules are missing in Php 7.4:
    ioncube_loader
    mcrypt
    wddx
    sourceguardian

However broli module seem to be new but is not activated on PHP 7.4.

What shall I do know ? is it du to Broli ?

No, I see no issues with the difference in these “missing” modules… No idea why this is happening though. I’ll have to try and reproduce this.

    Hi Ravanh,

Ok, for the moment, i have to stay in 7.3 despite this version is now deprecated.

The matter happens both on classic XML sitemap and news sitemap.

Please let met know if i can bring some help for testing, i will be glad

    YVan

I’m not able to replicate the issue. Could you give me a list of all the PHP modules that are activated in cPanel for PHP 7.4 ?

Also please verify if zlib.output_compression is OFF in the PHP Options. And maybe exclude the sitemaps from the Litespeed Cache?

    >Concerning compression: I have “output_buffering” (set to 4096) mais no output_compression in the option.

Well normally i neved had to modiyfy these parameters and touche to litespeed cache

    Yvan

Thank you for the complete list of modules. I’ll continue trying to find out more…

Well normally i neved had to modiyfy these parameters and touche to litespeed cache

Normally it should not be needed. I’m still in the dark about any possible reason why while your sitemap works on 7.4 without errors, Google would not be able to fetch it.

    Hi Ravan,

I heard that recently Google had some real problems of indexing pages.

It might be a way to an explanation? in the meantime do you suggest i try again to run wiht PHP 7.4 and see what happens ?

    Nice day

    Yvan

Hi Yvan, I tried to reproduce the problem with the same PHP modules activated on PHP 7.4 but so far have not gotten any error in Search Console for the existing sitemaps. I did get “Impossible to recover sitemap” once immediately after submitting the news sitemap (my test site is not a news site) but after a refresh of the search console page, the message changed to “Successful”.

I would indeed suggest to try 7.4 again ??

    Hi Ravan,

I will try tomorrow to switch to PHP 7.4. I will make a feedback to you ??

    Have a nice day
