    Hello,

I’m having a big problem since a few days : I can’t update nor install any plugins.

When I want to update, it’s written that’s the website goes to maintenance mode, then I see -1 below that line and nothing else happens. And my website goes blank for a time. It’s the same for every plugins.

I’ve tried to change the theme, but it’s the same.

I don’t see any warning in debbug mode.

    My server is not full.

Does somebody has an idea of what can happen ?

yes, that seems to be the problem, thanks !

how do you explain this problem ?

Check the plugin support forum using the link provided above.

To resolve the issue, update that plugin to the latest version. If you cannot update via the WordPress dashboard, then use the control panel provided by your host (e.g. cPanel). Open the file manager, navigate to /wp-content/plugins/. Delete the /astra-sites/ folder. Download the latest plugin version from here. Upload to the /wp-content/plugins/ folder and extract. Then, check back in the WordPress dashboard again.

    Solution:

This issue is being caused by a bug in the Starter Templates plugin that has now been fixed.

If your site is stuck in maintenance mode, you can fix that by deleting the “.maintenance” file in your main WordPress directory (probably /public_html)

To update to the fixed version of the plugin:

    1. Deactivate the Starter Templates plugin (since it’s breaking the updater)
    2. Update the Starter Templates plugin to 3.1.26 or higher
    3. Reactivate the Starter Templates plugin

I have the same problem. My site is stuck in maintenance mode. Here’s my ‘question…. where do I find the main WordPress directory to delete the maintenance file? I’m sure there is a simple answer but I don’t know what it is :).
