Impossible to edit functions.php

  • Hi
    I install the theme zerif lite and I try to modify something in the functions.php page.
    But when I change anything, it does not work !
    I try adding for example “ddddd” after a <p> and it does not work.
    Is anyone have an idea to fix it ?
