    Hello there,

I am getting this error on both of my websites, so I cannot connect to Algolia’s server.

Impossible to connect, please check your Algolia Application Id.

We were unable to authenticate you against the Algolia servers with the provided information. Please ensure that you used a valid Application ID and Admin API key.

I am 100% sure that I enter the credentials correctly ( I simply copy the fields one by one).

I reached out Algolia’s support team too, also ran their diagnostics tests but they said they don’t support third party integrations and I should reach out the developer of the plugin.

    Please help me!

Just as a curiosity test, would you be willing to create a 2nd application and see if that works at all?

We haven’t really determined a set pattern of why the connection process sometimes works, sometimes fails for people. For example one time PHP version for the site in question seemed to be a contributing factor, but a different PHP version worked fine.

For whatever reason, the plugin is unable to connect and exhausts all the known host URLs to connect to.

I am also passively curious if there’s anything in error logs that may indicate connection requests getting interrupted and/or denied.

@lpburny Did you ever get this working?
