    HI everyone!

It’s been 3 days that I am trying to select my Woocommerce catalogue for my Facebook page. On my Woocommerce Integration the syncronisation is good. I can see the Woocommerce catalogue on the Catalogue manager also. Bu impossible to chose the catalogue, reason: “This catalogue is linked to a Page shop. Please go to your Page shop to proceed with the deletion.”

    My website is https://www.dressbyns.com

It is linked to my Instagram page but I can’t use it for my Facebook page.

    Someone knows why?

    My best,

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey @sandrinej,

Thanks for writing to us about our plugin! I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I’m sorry to hear that the plugin isn’t working as expected. I am happy to help out here. ??

I’ve taken a look at your site and it seems that the Facebook pixel is properly installed. However, I do see that your Facebook page is missing the shop.

I’d like to get a better idea of where you are seeing this error message. Would you please share a screenshot of where you are running into the “This catalogue is linked to a Page shop…” error message?

    Thanks,
    Tamara

    Hi Tamara!

thank you for you reply, and sorry for my late answer…

    I can’t pick up the store…

    Hey @sandrinej,

Thanks so much for preparing this screenshot for me! This is very helpful.

It seems that the shop has been set up manually outside of the plugin setup wizard based on the screenshot. By default, if the shop was set up from Facebook, it will have the name “Products for <shopname>“, as you can see in this example for my SkyVergian Style shop. When done through the plugin, this creates its own catalog with the name “<shopname> – WooCommerce“.

The solution here requires two steps:

    • delete the existing catalog with 0 products
    • remove the existing plugin settings

Firstly, we need to remove the empty catalog and the link it has with the shop page:

    1. Open up the products catalog once again, and select the empty catalog
    2. Click the Settings option in the left-hand sidebar
    3. At the bottom of the screen, click the Delete button to remove the catalog and shop page link.

With that done, the shop page will be empty, and the link removed. We can then connect the catalog of the plugin to the shop page instead. The easiest way to do that is to run through the setup wizard again which will connect up the shop page and sync products.

    1. In your WordPress admin head to WooCommerce > Settings > Integration > Facebook for WooCommerce.
    2. Click “Manage connection”. See screenshot here: https://cloud.skyver.ge/o0uDe1np
    3. Head to “Advanced Options” on the popup window.
    4. Click the “Remove” button and confirm. See screenshot here: https://cloud.skyver.ge/4gummdo4
    5. You will be taken to a fresh Welcome screen to choose a Facebook page.
    6. Set up the connection as described in our documentation.
    7. Ensure you leave the WooCommerce > Settings > Integration > Facebook for WooCommerce page open while products sync.

Would you please give the above troubleshooting steps a try and let me know if this helps to address the issue here?

    Thanks,
    Tamara ??

Just one more thing… I don’t have all the pictures on the Facebook store like the pictures on the website… Is it normal?

    Hey Sandrine,

I greatly appreciate your patience over the weekend! I hope you had a great one ??

That’s great, I’m glad I could help you get everything set up. As for the image issue, I took a look at your Facebook store but it looks like all of your products have images set up.

Would you mind sharing a bit more details about the issue here? Are the images being used on Facebook different than those on your WooCommerce store?

    Thanks,
    Tamara

    Hey @sandrinej,

It has been a long time since we heard from you, so I’m going to mark this topic as resolved.

If you’re still experiencing issues please take a look at our documentation for more information and create a new thread if you have further questions.

    Thanks,
    Tamara ??
