Importing/exporting my authors

  • Hello. I’m doorlight.

    I have a self-hosted wordpress blog (a group blog which has more than 10 authors) and thought of making a new blog at wordpress.com. The reason was, I want to test if I my posts, categories, authors, etc. will be successfully exported.

    To my surprise, the only author who got imported was me (the admin). All the entries got imported but it was under my name. What happened to the original authors of the entries?

    Btw, I just used the Export thing in the Manage page of WP (self-hosted blog) and used the Import function at wordpress.com. And I did choose the “ALL” in the drop down menu box.

    I hope you are not confused with imported and exported because I’m confused now. lol.
