Importing WP 3 site WITH menu structure into WP Multi-Site?

    I need to move my existing WP 3.0 site to a new WP Multi-Site server. But by using the Import/Export feature my menu structure is lost??

    Is that to be expected? If yes then it sucks … how is one supposed to migrate a WP 3.0 site with menus then!?
