Importing UK Vehicle Data into WordPress

  • Hi,

    I have been asked to create a site for a used car dealership and one of their requirements is for an easy import mode where they can insert the vehicle VIN or car registration number and that populates the cars specifications. I have been looking for a couple of days for a plugin to achieve this functionality without any luck. I am based in the United Kingdom so the Edmunds API is no good unfortunatley as it only contains data for vehicles sold in the USA. If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated.

  • Hi Martin,

    I haven’t tried this one myself so can’t vouch for it but DVLA search appears to offer the data needed. It is pay as you go so could get pricy!
