Importing to Address field

    I am trying to import a couple different CSV files to two different Pods. Both will have address fields, which have all the information I need (addr1,addr2,city,state,zip) in the one field. But I am not able to map the import to the combined “address” field type yet. I am able to import that information into individual text or number fields, but not into the address field type (which I can use with the maps add-on).

    Looking for help setting up that import… thanks!

    Which ‘address’ field are you referring to? We do not have an address field in Pods, so there’s nothing for you to map to in our fields setting. Are you using an external solution?

    It also depends on what you’re using to perform your import with. WP All Import is able to combine input into one field.

    Hi Jim, thanks for the reply. Digging a little for a good link to send you, I think I found that I need to check with the developer of the add-on (which creates that address field type).

    I’ll check with Jory to see if he can help me get data imported into those fields within the field. (Looks great – just need to get it working!)

    Also, I’ll look for some documentation on combining input into one field – not sure that’s really my solution, but it is essentially what I need to do, too. WP All Import seems like it can handle it. We’ll see…

    Yep, that’s a Map/Address field in ‘beta’ which means it’s not fully supported yet.

    If you can look at one of the existing fields in WP All Export, you should be able to see how it has to map back from WP All Import, but, yes, it’d be better to find out how that field needs to be structure for import.
