When trying to bulk import from a .CSV into a list, the process completes, saying subscribers successfully imported. But when you go back to the subscribers, they are not there, and no subs have been added to the “Total Subscribers” count.

I have run though every combination of settings when importing. It always says it is successful, but never actually imports.

I can add a single subscriber and that will successfully get added to a list, and the total count.

Furthermore, I have tried from multiple browsers, operating systems.

    Any ideas?

I’ll assist you to resolve the problem.

When you import, the plugin puts the data into a queue where it starts importing the subscribers in the background. You’ll see after importing, it shows a message at the to saying that it imports in the background.

Can you wait a few seconds or minutes and go to Newsletters > Subscribers again to see if the count has increased?

If it still doesn’t, it means that the cron schedule probably isn’t running and that might be due to the WordPress cron not running. Can you check if the WordPress cron is running? Do you possibly have DISABLE_WP_CRON constant set to TRUE in your wp-config.php file?

I look forward to your response.
