I’d also like to import followers, if possible. Thank you!

You can follow the instructions here to transfer your followers from your WordPress.com blog to your new Jetpack site:
    https://jetpack.me/support/subscription-migration-tool/

We won’t be able to migrate stats, however; Post IDs on your new site don’t match the ones on your old site, and as a result if we were to migrate stats it would mix some of your posts’ stats.

Is there a way to make my Post IDs match so the stats can move? The content isn’t any different, so the stats would still be relevant.

You’d have to delete all posts on the new site, as well as categories, tags, and media. Once you have a completely empty site, with no preexisting content, not even in the trash, you can run a new import from Tools > Import, and your Post IDs should then be the same.

    I hope this helps.

It sounds like deleting the content would delete all record of visits and clicks. That scares me just a bit.

It won’t delete your existing stats as these are stored on WordPress.com servers. It will, however, delete all content from your site, so it’s only good if your site is not live yet.

I have transferred all posts from the wp.com site to the self-hosted wp.org. I was going to set the wp.com site to private and leave the content there since it’s free. But you’re saying I need to delete the content (but leave the site) in order for my stats to transfer? Sorry if I’m be redundant. I just don’t want to do something I can’t UNDO.

    Thanks.

    Sorry for the confusion.

Since the Post ID mismatch only concerned a small number of posts, I went ahead, fixed the issue, and transferred your stats for you. You should be all set.
