Importing Squarespace posts

  • Just wondering if it is infact possible to import posts from a squarespace blog to a www.remarpro.com blog? If so, how would i go about it?

  • Apparently you can export a Squarespace blog to a Moveable Type format, then import to WP.

    Yes, this seems to be the way to go, but Squarespace also have an XML export option that theoretically should be suitable for WP export. However, SS claim that WP uses some kind of non parse-able XML format making the direct transfer process impractical or unworkable. Any opinions on this?

    Using the moveable type format for importing squarespace posts worked perfectly but not for images – is there anyway to get all the images with the posts as well?
