Importing Settings For 1000’s of Products

    What are other people doing where you have THOUSANDS of products? I’ve emailed this plugin developer twice about trying to figure out a way to simply “copy the settings across 3,000+ products via import or direct DB manipulation” and the best they’ve come back with each time is, “you can use our import or duplicate feature” WHICH IS CRAZY. That still requires that manual action be taken on EVERY product. It takes about 12 to 45 seconds to do each product and I have 3,000 products that I need to all use the exact same settings.

    There has to be an easier way. I’ve tried WPAllImport, but couldn’t quite get it to bring everything over to the point of perfection. Has anyone else had luck with importing the settings en masse for CPO?

    This plugin is an obvious 5 stars, EXCEPT for this one huge limitation. I haven’t rated it yet in hopes someone can help me get beyond this because the utility is only there so far as I don’t have to spend 10 hours manually copying settings from item to item each time I want to add a single option to the mix, or slightly change the formula.

    I have answered you by email.
    In a nutshell, yes, unfortunately there is no possibility to copy product config for more than one product at once. So, only one in turn. The logic behind this is that the most use cases of the plugin are where each product a kind of individual. Basically you always configure them individually.
