Importing separate Features from Demo Setups?

    Is it possible to import only one part of a theme (talking about the “Portfolio” part of the BlueDemo) into my existing maskitto light theme, without losing the settings of my already installed and set-up theme?

  • Are you asking for the demo content (this in its entirety) or the “function” (the ability to create one)?

    If it is the latter, all of the themes have it included by means of a custom post type (Portfolio) and a widget (Maskitto: Portfolio). You’d be able to make one by using the Portfolio post type the theme created, and processing that using the said widget.

    If it’s the former, however, let me know and I can try to export the correct XML for you.

    Yes, I was asking for the second option, the function including its appearance and behavior parameters.

    As long as you’ve imported the XML file mentioned here (Getting Started) the functionality should be there. Is it visible on your end?

    Yes, it’s working.
    I had to choose the latest/newest styles in the Maskitto Light Options > Styling tab, though. ??
