Importing Products Hangs Up

    I am using the WooCommerceCore import tool to import product and it is hanging up and NOT completing the import. I have two items setup so I exported the csv file and added two more item with the identical information except the product name has been changed. So everything is exactly the same data wise so I don’t understand why the import is hanging up. Can some one please help me??

    Please could you let us know how many products you are trying to import? What happens in the process? Does it fail at any point, if so, are you seeing any visible error messages?

    Did you change the product ID in the CSV file when you added the two additional items?

    Please check that every item you add has a different ID.

    If, after these, the issue persists, could you please share a copy of the CSV file to make tests? You can use Google Drive o Uploadr web tool to share it.

    Also, along with it, kindly provide us your System Status; you can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select ‘Get system report’ and then ‘Copy for support’. Once you do this, you can paste your response here.

    Okay so I am trying to import two (2) items, it is just a test for now. I have left the product ID blank, assuming they would be assigned.

    It’s fine to leave the ID blank. From your first post, it sounds like you’re duplicating lines and only changing the product names. Remember to change the SKU to something else or blank it if the original products have SKUs.

    Also, for editing the CSV, make sure to avoid Microsoft Excel due to formatting and character encoding issues.

    OK, I can see the file now.
    I just tried importing your file into my test site using the core importer, and didn’t encounter any issues:

    Can you please give us more details on what happens when you import this file to your site? Do you see any error messages? If easier, you can share screenshots using https://snipboard.io.

    You can also try isolating the issue by deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce, switching theme to Storefront, and then uploading the file to see if it works.

    Okay so I deactivate all my plugins except the WooCommerce ones and the import went thru. So now I need to figure out which is causing the conflict. Thank ya’ll for the support and help.
