• First I think it best to explain what I’m doing….

I am creating a directory using a heavily modified premium wordpress theme – it is NOT a directory theme. I am using custom fields and script that I wrote in the single.php file to display the information designated within the custom fields.

Here is where I am at…

I have tried every plugin that I can find that will import posts via .csv file. The only one that I found to be of value is “CSV IMPORTER”. It works fairly well, however, I have thousands upon thousands of posts to import and would rather use phpmyadmin or ssh to do so.

My problem is that it appears as though the research I have done regarding this type of process seems to give me “solutions” that are not all quite there. I’m hoping that I can get someone with some experience in this type of task to give me some advice. I appreciate any assistance in this. Thank you in advance.

(SIDE NOTE) I am using a VPS to host my site, so my abilities are not limited by my hosting company.
