    I have a blog at
    net-prophet.net/blog

    I recently imported 135 posts
    from my disused blogger site.

It took me most of a week to
    inport those posts, and then
link to them on Archives, one at a
time, with many back and forths
to get all the fields transferred.
[I have a really slow modem line!]

Is there some way to do a GLOBAL
    action on the “uncategorized”
    category. Everything I import
goes right there, and if I could
do a global action on everything
    “uncategorized” it would be simple.

This relates to my desire to host
on my WP blog my 5,000 plus posts
to several news groups over the last
ten years. I can’t import them one
post at a time; that would take years!

I need to import one group of posts
at a time, but automatically, and
    then recategorize them GLOBALLY from
    “uncategorized” to whatever they are!

I have them in archives on my hard drive.
They are in Forte Free Agent, Forte Agent,
Eudora, and several other file formats.

    These programs were originally running
under windows, and now I have a linux
system, so I can’t run the programs.
Most of the import options seem to want
the programs set up, not just the files.

How do I point WP to a database file and
get it automatically imported as individual
posts to my blog? This would solve a huge
problem I have had for years now. I don’t
even have access to my own posting history!
And I therefore can’t share it with others.

    Thanks for any info!
