• I created my website on iweb years ago. I love the look, etc, but would now like to edit it and take it to the next level with wordpress. I don’t see any templates with a similar look. Is it possible to modify my existing pages in wordpress? How do I get my HTML files to wordpress? I have my existing site published to a folder on my desktop

  • There is not an easy way to do that — for more info about possible (though technically complicated) ways see the Codex on Importing.

But the above only applies to content. For the look and function of your site — no, there is no way to duplicate it except by creating and customizing a WP site. See Theme Development for info on that.

I have a similar question: https://www.afsb.org/ is our website created in iweb. I want to transfer it all to www.remarpro.com. We have a domain name and host already functioning separate from iweb. We like the look, layout, and content but want to go from this point forward in www.remarpro.com. Can we import the pages, layouts, text, photo files etc?

I have only until June 30, 2012 (the end of this week) to resolve this issue because Apple is doing away with MobileMe that was hosing my website. How do I transfer my iWeb website to WordPress or is it even possible? I don’t see any responses here to know if anyone has been successful doing it. It ISN”T a help that WordPress doesn’t seem to have a chat or a phone to get help. Please advise. Thank you!
