• Resolved ehmarketing

    Hi there,

We recently moved our site to a new host, but there was a technical hitch, all resolved now, which resulted in changes being made to both databases. We have 5 orders which were created on the old site using order id and order numbers which have also been created on the new site hosting.

If I move these 5 orders to the new site, how will it resolve the matching order ids and order numbers (created with Sequential Order numbers plugin) – will it create new order ids, or will it cause a conflict?

    Many thanks

    Hi @ehmarketing,

If the importing orders ID are already used on the importing site for other orders or post then the orders will be skipped from importing due to ID conflict. You may please unmap the ID column in order to overcome the ID conflict and import the order.
Please note that the orders will be imported with a new ID if the ID column is unmapped.

    Hi @webtoffee

I have exported the orders and removed the orders I dont want to import again from the spreadsheet. I also deleted the columns for order no and order id, however the import hasnt worked.

Should I leave those columns in but delete the values inside? Or what do you mean by unmapping them exactly?

Thanks again for your quick reply and help

    Hi @ehmarketing,

You may please either delete the ID column or delete the data in that column. If you are required to retain the order number then please make sure that you keep the order number column and the Sequential Order numbers plugin is installed on your site.
