    Hi

I have been getting the Importing Order(ID) conflicts with an existing post. ID: 166852 error when I tried to import the orders list in the website. I tried to find the id but not able to. I wanted to import the orders data with the same id. How can I import without changing the order id compeletely.

I have read somewhere in the forum that Sequential Order Number for WooCommerce will help with this.

If I Installed this plugin and import the csv file for the orders will it restore all the orders data with the same order id.

    Hi @saip1540,

    Thank you for reaching out.

This error message is displayed when the IDs in the file you are attempting to import are already being used by another post on your site. This could be a product, order, image, or any other type of post. If you search your database for the conflicting IDs you can see to which post it is assigned to.

The Sequential Order Number for WooCommerce plugin only helps in maintaining the order number, not the ID. If there is an ID conflict, the plugin does not provide a solution to keep the ID the same as WordPress does not support multiple posts to have the same ID.

The only way to import an order with the same ID if it’s conflicting is by deleting that conflicting post or changing its ID. However, please note that changing the ID of an existing post or deleting it is not recommended as it may lead to other issues or data inconsistencies.

Ok I guess I cannot import them on the same ID now. Couple of more questions I have.

    1. Now the orders are imported will these orders will get automatically updated to show in customers my account or do I need to do anything esle.
    2. Earlier while I was importing the orders due to some error it could not complete. Now when I try to import the orders some orders were imported already how can I skip them so that again those orders doesn’t import again.

    Hi @saip1540,

    1. If the orders are imported with the correct customer emails, then the orders will be automatically listed in the accounts of the customers.
    2. If the IDs of the order in the CSV and the ID of the orders that are already imported are the same then they will be automatically skipped during import. If the IDs are different, then you will have to delete the already imported orders rows from your file.

    Hello,

I’m having the same issue with one conflicting ID. I was trying to find the conflicted ID but no result.

Is there an easy way to find the ID?

    Thanks in advance.

    I have solved the problem.
