Importing Livejournal (LJ) entries to WP

There seems to be no LJ > WP conversion or import hack, but I figured a way it can be done.
using a modified version of the lj2mt.pl script, I can create a file of the same format as a file that can be used as input by the import-mt.php file.
So if someone is interested in importing LJ entries to WP, please let me know, I could help.
I tried this out coupla times, and it worked fine.
