importing images imports photos at various sizes

Do not import the folders, but go a level deeper and select the images you want to upload. See the Import from selection box and the Set Source directory button

I have the same issue. The problem is that I have dozens or hundreds of pictures in a given folder. WordPress then creates 4 additional sizes for each of them. Once I select the folder (year-month) it’s very difficult and time consuming to manually check only the original (non-resized) version of the pictures for import. There should be a way to sort or filter the list to separate the originals from the resized versions. There’s a checkbox that says “Check All”, there should also be a checkbox that says “Check only originals”. Would make a great plugin even better!

Hi! I used dnui-delete-not-used-image-wordpress, a plugin that helps you delete thumbnails, so that after that you can ‘check all’ without any problem… then there is another plugin called ONet-regenerate-thumbnails, that helps you rebuild your thumbnails after you already have created your albums.
