Importing image captions using feed to post

Hello. I am processing a feed where the source article contains an image and an associated image caption. When I inspect the page code, I see that the caption is tagged via figcaption element. I want to display the image caption in my post. I’ve tried a number of options but am having no luck grabbing the caption. Do I have any options here? I could not find existing Forum Q&A. Below are the items referenced above.
