• I have an old store that is not selling anything at the moment and under deep freeze.

    I just updated the Woocommerce to version 4, and now the Import Historical Data is NOT working.

    Another site on the same server managed to import the Historical Data. But why not this site? The process is stopped and running endlessly in Initializing mode.

    It is ridiculous. There is only 4 registered customers, and 21 orders/refunds.

    What is there to import and why is it not working?

    I know this has probably been said a million times, but I will say it again, why can’t Woocommerce make their updates better or smoother and why must it always involve something going wrong and/or taking a long time?

  • Hi @bliss7 – Sorry to hear you’re running into trouble with your WC Admin import!

    It sounds like your site’s migration to Action Scheduler 3.1 might have run into some issues here. Action Scheduler 3.1 is a significant upgrade, but that also means that WooCommerce 4.X is a very intensive update in terms of structural changes to your site.

    We’ll do our best to help you get this sorted out on that site!

    1) As a first step, could you please send us a copy of that site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.

    2) Could you also please go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and let us know if you have any fatal-error logs for when you trigger the import?

    3) Finally, please go to Tools > Scheduled Actions and give us a screenshot of that page.

    Thanks, I think the import has transferred over?!? by itself?
    After a while, when I logged back in, and go to the Woocommerce Dashboard, I don’t see any messages saying any import is in progress.

    I’m still not sure though.
