Importing Google Calendar

    Hello –

    Can you please provide a link to some documentation on importing a Google Calendar, I cannot find it on your website.

    Also, the Importing of Facebook Events documentation is incomplete, it just stops after you create a permanent Access Token, and doesn’t explain where to add that in the plugin.

    About Google Calendar I will explain and check to see what are you missing, watch the video in this link: https://webnus.net/dox/modern-events-calendar/video-tutorials/ or This Video.
    – The Google Calendar should be public to import
    – The timezone in WordPress and Google Calendar need match together
    – APIKey should be enabled for Google, check the client ID too

    About Facebook, I follow the article and get a new access token for my website and didn’t any vague words on documentation.

    Not sure why I didn’t get an email when you responded…

    1. I am not seeing the options in Import/Export that you have shown in your response to import Google Calendar. Do you need the PRO version to be able to do this?

    2. Same for Facebook Events.

    Ok, weird… the first couple times visiting the Import/Export tab – nothing was showing. I don’t know if it is coincidental but I had deleted all of the default events that were imported on install and went back to Import/Export, now those options are now showing.

    Some type of bug?

    Hi @viablethought,

    I don’t know what happened on your website, but for more information:

    1- Google Import is included also in MEC Lite, but Cron-Jobs is an additional option to MEC Pro, so Google Import has an option on MEC Lite.

    2- Also, it is included in Facebook as well.
