Importing from WP 2.2.1 to WP 2.3

    I’m moving a WP site from the temporary host space to a newly created one. I’ve exported my XML from the old database, but the new one won’t accept it. I get The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/xxxxxx/wp-content. Under the WP logo is what I suppose to be an error code – 91.

    Can anyone assist please? Or is this a database issue I need to pass to my hosting company?

    The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/xxxxxx/wp-content.

    That’s generally a permissions issue. Make sure that the permissions on the upload directory are set correctly to allow WordPress to write to that directory.

    That was it, thanks. I changed a few folder permissions to 777 until it worked. ??
