Importing from wordpress.com

  • 1) I’ve tried to import all posts from thisdamecooks.wordpress.com to my self-hosted wordpress website thisdamecooks.com. Not all of the posts have been imported. Apparently this is a timing problem my webhost cannot do anything about. The file is less than 64KB of posts and settings. How can I force it to import all posts and settings?

    2) the RSS feeds do not work on www.remarpro.com website. I used the same url which I used to setup the widget on wordpress.com blog but all I get is text, no stream, and no badge. Is there php or style.css code I need and if so, where in the file to I put the code?

    3) flickr stream is not displaying photos, only text for each photo. I used same url which I used to setup flickr widget for wordpress.com blog. Is there php or style.css code I need and if so, where in the file to I put the code?

    Issue 1) resolved – when importing I skipped the “download attachments” option. All my posts with images and comments were imported perfectly and in chronological order.

    Now I need to resolve the RSS feed issues. I hope someone out there can help.
