• Hi, I’m seriously considering moving over another one of my blogs to WordPress.
However, it’s at a fairly obscure (as in, narrow interest) system that is not supported by the current import goodies here at WP – an dhas no export features of its own. I’ve seen the import RSS feature, which is great, but in doing that I would lose the comments.
I wonder if someone could have a look at my blog (I can give you all the PHP is you want) and tell me if it would be possible to save all of the archives, inc. comments? I’m not asking you to do the hard work for me, but I really need a pointer in the right direction.

    Cheers.

  • The db gurus here would find it handy to know a bit more about how and where the data is stalled and knowing what type of CMS it was.

I’ll answer that to the best of my ability.
LwC is a hosted PHP-powered Blog-engine that runs off of the Smarty template. Umm, I think that’s all I know.
The home page is https://lifewithchrist.org/ but that doesn’t tell you much more. (I hooked up when I didn’t have webspace as it was free and lacked banner advertising.)

    Root,
If you can let me know exactly what sort of info you need, I can email the Administrator and request it.
    Thanks.
