    Hi tober1,

    Thank you for reaching out.
Do you mean to “Restore” the file you have uploaded to wp-content/ai1wm-backups?

    Hi Pim,

I’m trying to migrate form a local (xampp) to a remote host.

I’ve ftp’d an exported file to a temp folder on the host (outside wp). I’d like to try importing from there, as I’m not succeeding in importing from my local host. Either the import grinds to a halt at 75% or it seems to succeed but the site doesn’t update.

Thanks for getting back so quickly.

    Hi tober1,

Is the plugin stuck at 75% on upload (after “Import from File”) or “Restoring 75% files”?

    75% on upload.

But last try it seemed to upload okay but didn’t restore at all.

Where does the uploaded file get stored if it’s uploaded from local?

    Hi tober1,

I recommend you to upload the .wpress backup to wp-content/ai1wm-backups and restore it from the Backups page of our plugin.
Please check out our video tutorial on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRp7qTFYKgs for more details.

    Worked perfectly, many thanks.

This might be a good way for other people to get around reluctant uploads from localhost direct to the plugin.

    You are very welcome, tober1.
    Was your site successfully restored?

Yes. I only had to reactivate the correct child theme.

    Thanks
