Importing from Blogger – disappearing images

    I’ve just completed a seamless import from Blogger to WordPress and all was golden. All my posts, comments and images were intact but for some curious reason, the images have disappeared from the WP site.

    All I’ve done since then is put my header onto the single php but have done nothing else. Could this have somehow upset the images?

    Any thoughts are appreciated but please, I beg you, keep your explanations simple.

    A little more information comes to light…

    On inspecting the posts themselves, I see that a small measure of crud has weaved its way into the photo’s code. When I edit it out and play around with viewing the image, the photo is restored but this seems incredibly tedious, especially if I have to go through a years archives correcting this.

    Is there an easier way?

    Can you post a link to your site?

    Poco, thank you for answering. I’m uploading all the images again and now hosting them on flickr. This seems to have done the trick.
