Importing files from wordpress.com

Hi…I’m doing my best to upgrade to a www.remarpro.com site (from .com). I successfully exported the files…and then imported the file on my new site. The attachments came through…but the blog posts do not. When the upload is complete…it goes to a page on my new site that says “Sorry …this page can not be found”. I’m afraid that I may have deleted the page that the file needs to be directed to. I customized my menu a few days ago. Unfortunately…i must have deleted the main page. Can you help me know which page i should re-create. Which page is this file trying to find?? THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I know that this is my fault. I would appreciate any help you can give. ??
