Importing Facebook Events

I created a FB app and set up as directed on the instructions included in MEC Pro. When I import the events, it take a moment, but it displays a list of all of the events. I select all, add a few checkmarks and finally select import.
When I do that, it tells me it cannot find the Facebook page, even though it “found” the page to display the events to import.
Any ideas on what is set up incorrectly?
