I have read a lot about this plugin and I must say, I am impressed.

We are currently using Datatable by Supsystic and it is quite good.

However, it does not give you the ability to import excel files with hyperlinks.

Management has asked us to see if we can find another plugin that has this feature.

So, does this plugin allow you to import excel files with hyperlinks?

The excel file we have, has over 3,000 records and one of those columns has hyperlinks and it will be a nightmare to try to enter each hyperlinked cell.

Does this plugin allow importing excel files with hyperlinks.

Thanks in advance for your response.

Unfortunately, this is an intranet site.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Yes, this is no problem. Starting with TablePress 2.0 (the current version is 2.1.5), TablePress can import hyperlinks in Excel files ??

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Tobias,

    Thank you for your response.

Is this feature only available on the Premium version?

I just tried importing an excel file where one of the columns has several values with hyperlink but after the import, the hyperlink was stripped away from all of them.

Is there something I have to do manually to get this to work even though manual intervention won’t help me.

BTW, yes, I installed the current version you referenced in your response.

    Hi,

no, this is in the Free version as well. However, it requires that the server uses a modern version of PHP, so that the correct import engine is used.

Also, the links need to be created directly in Excel, and not e.g. using the HYPERLINK() function. Is that the case for your table? If you can send it to me via the email from the bottom of https://tablepress.org/pricing/ I’ll be happy to check what’s going on.

    Regards,
    Tobias
