Importing double of same image

  • I have transferred a Blog from Blogger to WordPress. I am using this plugin to import the images for each of the posts. When I use it, it imports the image twice. Once is the original size, and the second is reduced to the size of the parameters I set for maximum size (1020 by 1020). Ideally what I want is only one image imported and linked to and that is the image at the reduced size. Am I doing something wrong? I am not a techie, just a simple WordPress designer so any basic instructions on what I can do to fix this would be much much appreciated.
