I am hosted into a2hosting and the configuration requirements are all green, but I tryed 2 times and it does the same (just skipping the shop/woocommerce feature) it load everything well, till this text “Importing the content – Imported 48 of 82 items” and then it give a error popup: “Unknown error: error –”.

How could I face this issue? I should try to fastcomet or change the php verion or other suggestions?

    Hi,

    I’m sorry to hear that.

Can you share which demo have you tried? Have you tried other demos?

I didn’t tryed other demos, but I solved the issue skipping the installation of the plugin because they was already installed and then it worked, so maybe it was a timeout error only?

    Yeah… sweet-bitter situation here.

sweat – you solved the problem

bitter – I lost a chance to make out theme even better. ??

can I close this ticket now?

I was importing CROPPS design, and at the end it was all right.

I’m having the same problem. Just installed Rife Free and tried to import a design. At the “Installing plugins” stage, I get the same popup: “Unknown error: error –”.

I’ve tried to import several of the other free designs. All give me the same error.

Did you tryed to use my method? : Skip the parts of the theme that was already downloaded/installed, because to me it was somthing like a timout error not well explained..

I’m not offered the option to skip installing plugins. I’m trying to import a design through the “Design Importer”.

Wait, that isn’t true. I just overlooked that step. I am able to skip installing the plugins. So I did and it succeeded installing the design! But, am I not missing needed plugins now?

Okay, so I just tried to add a post (or actually edit an existing post) and it gave me the error message “Update failed. The response is not a valid JSON-response”.

I had it restarted by plugin because the installation seemed to have exceeded the plugin download (I discovered this by reading the real-time message that tells you what the plugin is doing and I thought it was true and this brought me luck). It depends a lot on the power of your web server. I had the problems (then solved) on a shared server with 6 gb of ram and 6 cpu.. you could avoid the problem of the server power by doing the installation locally too.

Perhaps apollo13themes cares to join in?

“Update failed. The response is not a valid JSON-response”. – this comes from the block editor I presume. It might be caused by any sort of security measured imposed by your hosting or any plugin that fiddles with REST API.

I could take a closer look – just give me access to your website on [email protected] email address.
