• Hello,

I build WP all import add-on for ERE plugin and overall it works fine for importing property data, and I have 1 problem that I think ERE plugin dev can help me with.

I import data into “Province/state”, “city/town”, “neighborhood” taxonomies, the data imported just fine when I check it from the backend, but on the frontend when I tried to search my property listing from by location (hierarchically), for example: “Japan” -> “Kanto” -> “Tokyo” -> “Shinjuku” (hierarchically)

The location that supposed to be linked that way but it doesn’t work that way, what happened is:
“Japan” -> “All states” (No other selection from the states taxonomy) -> “all city” (No other selection from the city taxonomy) -> “all neighbourhood” (No other selection from the neighbourhood taxonomy)

Unless I input the location data into “Province/state”, “city/town”, “neighbourhood” taxonomies manually without using wp all import plugin the frontend search function is not pulling the data properly from the backend.

Is there any way I can get a help from ERE plugin dev or anybody that willing to help me for perfecting the addon that I built?
It can be very useful for all ERE plugin users.

    Thank you

  • wish I could help you with this one – I tried wp all import, and a couple others, and could get the info in just fine but could not get it into the hierarchical assignments (assign city to state and so on). I contacted the developers of a couple of plugins, for importing and good ones for assigning hierarchy in taxonomies and they all said their plugins could not do what we wanted because of the way this one had it set up.

So very interested in this also and even willing to pay for a plugin that does this if anyone can find one.
