• Right now when you import CSV text into the main body of a post or page it adds the content into the Classic block within the new block editor. Is it possible to set this up so the content is added into a Paragraph block or another block instead?

    Thanks a ton for the help.

    Hi @jg-visual

    Is it possible to set this up so the content is added into a Paragraph block or another block instead?

    For now you can do this by typing in the paragraph block tags (or other block tags) in the import template. For example:

    <!-- wp:paragraph -->
    {content[1]}
    <!-- /wp:paragraph -->

    Thanks for the quick response. I actually tried that and it just put <!-- wp:paragraph --> and <!-- /wp:paragraph --> into the Classic block. Is there something I can modify to make it work?

    Hey @jg-visual

    That’s really strange. Make sure you’re using the “Text” tab of the editor (see: https://d.pr/i/syr5mV) – the “Visual” tab could add some extra data that causes it to break.

    If that doesn’t work, please replicate your import at https://www.wpallimport.com/debug/ and open a ticket at https://www.wpallimport.com/support/ so we can see what’s going wrong.

    Awesome, I’m pretty sure I was using the “Visual” tab so that makes sense. Thanks for the help. I’ll go ahead and mark this resolved, but I’ll open a ticket if I can’t figure it out.

    Thanks again.
