Importing blocks directly to the database

Hi, thank you for GCB! It is working like a champ on our site. I know it can import from other site’s content blocks, but can it import from CSV or XML or similar?

I have a set of 1500+ vocab terms that we want to set up as content blocks so that they can be centrally managed across our site. Is there any way to import them directly to the GCB database without manually creating blocks for each term?
