Hello there, since this is a backend issue -bug?- I’m not providing a page link.
I will clarify my issue by steps.
    Steps to reproduce the issue.
    1. Create a product with custom attributes. Such as size.
    2. Attributions used as variations: yes (important). Show on product page: no (irrelevant)
    3. Create variations from attributes -remember custom ones-.
    4. Export csv from woocommerce products page.
    5. Change the column Attribute 1 Global to 1.
    6. Import and update existing products by SKU, id etc.
    Expected Result:
Merged global attributes, used for variations.
    Actual Result:
Merges attributes as global, creates mission options — OK GREAT
Check out the the actual product’s variations on edit page. Variation options become Any Size… instead of respective variations. This basically deletes? the links between attributes and variations.

Am I doing something wrong? Is this expected behaviour or a bug?

@kontinyu This sounds like something similar that was happening with a previous version of WooCommerce. Can you confirm if the same thing still happens on the current version. If so, can you confirm that the parent product with the attributes is being imported before the children variations?
