Importing Attributes

    Hello and good day.

    I am trying to simplify adding attributes to other products in woocommerce.

    I have created the attributes and the terms and, for one product, I have added all necessary attributes for simple product.

    However, I need to do this to 3 other very similar products.

    I exported the file, selected attributes to export and then imported the csv file.

    Only attributes were mapped under CSV column header(from imported file).

    However, after attempting to export, it fails.

    There must be something I am doing wrong.

    Hi @rayeason,

    You can import attributes to the existing products on your site using the plugin. Kindly make sure that you include either the product SKU or ID in order to update the products.
    If the issue persists please share your import file and the screenshot of your import mapping screen.

    Do I include the product ID or SKU when exporting, importing or both?

    I selected the product which I had complete attributes on and exported but it failed.

    Hi @rayeason,

    You may please either use the ID or SKU. Just make sure that either of these is present in the import CSV file in order to update.
    Please share the screenshot of the issue you are facing while exporting the products so that we can check it.

    Hi @rayeason,

    From the screen video record, you shared we can see that you have not included the ID or SKU n the export file. Please include either ID or SKU also in the file in order to update the existing product with the attributes in the file.

    Can you please tell us whether you are required to update the other existing product on your site with attributes or fresh import new products with attributes or just import attributes to the site?
