importing and theme uploads

    I’m a newbie obviously… just came over from wordpress.com and tried to import my blog. My site is only showing 1 post and a number of others (maybe 16 or so) have “unpublished” status. I have well over 100 posts and am frustrated to say the least.

    I’m using 2.6.3…

    The second issue i’m having is uploading themes to my blog. I only see two available templates and understand that I have to download them… the thing is, every time I attempt to log in to the “theme directory” it tells me I’m not registered… then when I attempted to register with my wordpress info, it tells me my name is not valid… so i created a separate account here and i’m still stuck… basically.

    ok, so i figured out how to correct the importing issue… anyone wanna chime in on themes?
