Imported users and my account disappeared?

    I don’t know what’s happened but my admin login doesn’t work since importing the users to the new site. The details of the login from the old site to the new site were identical so I’m not sure why there’s an issue, but it’s not even finding my email address when trying to recover the password. I’m about to see if there’s anything I can do with phpMyAdmin, but anyone got any ideas?

    Was your user in the CSV file you uploaded?

    Hi Javier,

    Thanks for the response. The first time I did this, my user was in the CSV, but the second time, I removed my user from the old CSV but still had the same issue.

    Any ideas?

    Also not sure why but when attempting to reset the password for users which have been imported, the site says that no email or user exists in the system.

    I’m not sure the plugin works tbh but I can’t find any proper alternative.

    The plugin is working correctly in more than 7.000 sites so there should be a problem in your site.

    Anyway, are you using the last version? Are you sure no other plugin is creating compatibility problems with this (deactivate the rest and do the import again)?

    And yes, if you have inserted your user in the CSV the correct way to work is it, it updates this user also.
