    Hello,

I imported list of 500 products using import(csv).
    https://prntscr.com/m8exow

After import “All” updated to “3,999”, but “Published” remained at “3,499”.

Each product has unique SKU id and had been working well till “3,499”.

Unable to to find SKUs in search. Also exported the product list, it showed 3,499 products.

Upload retrying, it showed “Products Skipped”, “Product id already exists”
    https://prntscr.com/m8eyws

    Any help, greatly appreciated.

    Hi @matrix1991,

I see the errors that you got the second try you attempted the import. But the first time around, did you receive any errors in the import process?

The first thing that comes to mind here, if you didn’t see any errors the first time around, is that you might be dealing with cache issues. Do you know if your site has any caching features enabled? This could be added by either a plugin on the site, or by your host at the server level.

I’m thinking the products might have been imported correctly, but the cache hasn’t updated and you are unable to see them yet.

If this is the issue, disabling caching features should fix it.

    Ok.

Then too All products show 3499 items,

and published products show 3499 items.

I’m not sure I understand. Can you elaborate on what you did, and what were the results?

You seem to imply that both options now show 3499, but the screenshots you attached show something different, so I’m not sure what happened exactly.

    I have highlighted in screenshot,

    “All” products show 3499 items,

    “published” products show 3499 items.

    Thank you for those screenshots!

This makes me thing that something failed in the original import and the product data was corrupted – not fully making it into the store.

There’s an option in the built-in importer that lets you update existing products through a CSV import. Could you try importing the same file again, but making sure you select that option to “update existing products”?

    It’s this one: https://cld.wthms.co/r54w3t

    Hopefully that helps!

    Hi,

That shows “All products updated successfully”

But then, things are where they were!

    Hi @matrix1991

Thanks for trying out all the troubleshooting steps that we had offered to you. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

It appears that there might be some database troubles in your site, where some of the products (around 500 of them) you tried uploading don’t show up in the front end or the list of products.

    You had mentioned:

Unable to to find SKUs in search. Also exported the product list, it showed 3,499 products.

As far as I understand, all of the new 500 products you imported are the ones that seem to be missing from the list of products in your site, yes? Can you check if at least one of those products can be seen among the list of products?

If you can’t find them, can you try going to Products > Export to try and export a CSV list of products? Once done, can you see if you can find any of those products over there? If that doesn’t work either, you might need to take a look at your phpMyAdmin to see if you can find these products in the database, and compare it with the listed products in the database.

Let us know how that went.

    Hi @matrix1991,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
