Imported product Image names have weird numbers

    Hi,
    I imported products from my Shopify site into my new woocommerce store.
    Most of the product images came in with a weird number attached to the file name.
    For example, go to this page:
    https://staging.mandarmarathefineart.com/product/25th-hour/

    right-click on the image and open it in another tab and see the file name in the url box.
    It will be :
    25th-Hour-Oil-Painting-Mandar-Marathe_75bc2528-72b1-4ef3-b3e6-0a0deab1851f.jpg
    whereas in shopify the image file name is 25th-Hour-Oil-Painting-Mandar-Marathe.jpg

    Why does this happen and how to avoid it?

  • Hi Mandar,
    I visit your link but do not see the weird number in product image name.
    Maybe you change them all yourself?
    Anyway, our plugin will keep original image data it gets from Shopify API to import. No extra data is added.

    Yes, I changed all image file names in wp manually.
