Imported players not appearing on player lists

    Hi there,

    I’m using the events importer to import events (funnily enough), and that’s all working fine. The event stats, player stats, seasons etc are all correctly applied. However, any new players imported in this manner won’t appear on player lists.

    I have found a fix. I have to go into each individual new player in the dashboard and “Update” them, even without making any changes, and they then appear. This doesn’t work when I bulk edit. Is there any reason the players have to be saved off again, and is there any way to avoid this?

    I just tried to a clean WordPress installation, to import the dummy events-sample.csv and all the players are appearing just fine at Player Lists (filtered only by Team). What settings are you using for your Player Lists?

    Hi Savvas,

    I’m filtering by League, and Current Season. Current Season is set in Settings, and players have the Current Season attached to them as the season. As mentioned, I don’t have to edit the players when I save them, just click update and they appear somehow. I don’t have any examples to show you at the moment, as I’ve fixed them all, but I was wondering if using Current Season instead of an actual season could cause issues initially?

    Well, I tried that configuration also (filter by League and Current Season) and everything works as it should be… Strange. Can you please disable all your plugins except SportsPress, also switch to a default theme like Rookie to see if there is any conflict?

    Same here, but I’m trying to import via WP All Import Pro (I need to use this because I’m importing multiple things in batch automatically via cron).
    Everything is showing in admin panel, but not in front end.
    It only works when I go to players, edit player nad save it in admin panel (I don’t need to change anything just save it). Oh, one more thing – when I try to import it again (and update) it is not showing again.
    Do you have any idea what’s wrong?

    When I checked records for both players (one which is showing and second one – imported – which is not showing) they looks exactly the same.
