Imported Images Point to old site
-
I’m trying to move my WP 5.1.1 installation to a local LAMP installation. In the original install, I exported all content. When I import it to the new installation and check the box to download all attachments, all 10,000+ images were downloaded properly and appear in the media library. However, the image links all point to the old site instead of the new media library. Oddly, when I view the site it shows the images (still hotlinked to the old site), but in Gutenberg the image block shows a broken image and text that https://www.oldsite.net/wp-content/uploads/oldimage.jpg can’t be found, even though it still exists in that directory.
I’m thinking what’s needed is to edit the database to change all instances of https://oldsite to https://localhost:8080/wordpress, but I’m not smart enough on SQL to do that on my own.
1) Is that the solution to this issue or is there a better way?
2) How would I make this change from either the command line or phpMyAdmin?
