I want to use a imported styled newsletter included with my theme.

When i shortcode imported form on any website page, it displays fine. When someone tries to sign-up for the newsletter the folowing error message comes up:

The requested resource could not be found.

I assume this error persists because imported forms arent’t assigned to a Mailchimp Mailing list yet. The problem is, there is no option to assign them to my list?

I can’t edit the form, error message: We’ve encountered an error. Reload the page and try again. If the error persists, please reach out to support.

ps. I do not need edit the form itself, it only has to be assigned to my MailChimp list.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @rogerveijk,

On the site you’re importing your form into, is your API key connected? Your target website needs to be connected to MailChimp using the same API key as the import-from website. Once they’re both connected to the same list, then you can export/import the form.

So I think you’ll need to delete your current form, make sure you’re connected to MailChimp, and then re-import the form.

    Does that make sense?

    Cheers,
    Kevin.

    Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your reply, already try re-import the form without luck.

Unfortunately it’s impossible to have same Mailchimp API code as the creator of the imported form, because the styled form is created by my theme developper.

Is it somehow possible to assign the form to a Mailchimp list by edit code / FTP?
I checked folders but can’t find any file related to form in the plug-in folder

    Hi @rogerveijk,

Unfortunately it’s not possible to change the form’s list. All of the form information and field information are tied to that list.

    Sorry about that.

    All the best,
    Kevin.
